Diagnosis

Posterolateral sidelobes of mesoscutum, above base of fore wing, with a large pit (as in grandis); medioposterior dorsellum drawn out in a tip; frontal suture weakly U-shaped; frons and vertex reticulate with rather strong reticulation; scrobal grooves indistinct, except joint groove up to frontal suture; first gastral tergite without hairtufts anterolaterally, posterior margin smoothly curved backwards.
